West Virginia Board of Education to Meet on August 14
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Board of Education (WVBE) will meet to conduct routine business on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 10 a.m., in Capitol Building 6, Room 353 (Board Conference Room), 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East, Charleston, West Virginia. The WVBE will showcase students from the Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) with a musical performance at 12:30 p.m. at the Culture Center Theater, Capitol Building 9. The 2019 session of the GSA was held at Marshall University, June 16-July 6. The GSA is for current high school sophomores who exhibit talent in the literary, performing and visual arts.
