Programs
Child and Adult Care Food Program
This federal program offers healthy meals and snacks to qualifying children and adults at participating child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers.
Farm to School
Connects schools with regional or local farms in order to serve healthy meals using locally produced foods.
Feed to Achieve
Over 180,000 school children in West Virginia qualify for free or reduce-priced meals. This program ensures that all students have equal access to nutritious meals.
School Nutrition Programs (SNP)
Provides healthy, nutritious meals through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program to students in West Virginia schools.
Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
This federal program ensures children (18 years and younger) in lower-income areas continue to receive free nutritious meals during the summer.

Coordinated Services Plan Waiver Request
The WVDE is submitting this form to the USDA to request a waiver to defer the January 1, 2025 compliance date for the Coordinated Services Plan (CSP) for the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer for Children Program (Summer EBT) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The WVDE is requesting this waiver due to final USDA rules not being available for the SFSP.
