Nicholas County Public Update Issued Following Mediation

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Nicholas County mediation team, including representatives of the West Virginia Department of Education, West Virginia Board of Education and the Nicholas County Board of Education met in Charleston, WV on March 27 and 28 to discuss the elements of a mutually agreeable and workable plan for the rebuilding of Nicholas County schools.

The mediation team will host a public workshop to gather input from residents of Nicholas County on April 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Nicholas County High School. Transportation from Richwood will be available. All are invited to attend and those interested are asked to pre-register by visiting: https://bit.ly/2GGaJwZ.
