West Virginia Board of Education and Nicholas County Board of Education Approve Mediation Process for Rebuilding Nicholas County Schools

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Board of Education met in a joint session with the Nicholas County Board of Education on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 to discuss the joint mediation process for Nicholas County schools impacted by the 2016 floods. During this meeting, board members heard from Stacie Smith, Senior Mediator, Consensus Building Institute, and voted to approve the proposed mediation process.
