Initial Application

  • Validity Period: Time frames for the endorsement’s validity vary according to the certificate’s validity dates.
  • Educational Work Experience: Verified 10 years of administrative experience at a county or school level.
  • Coursework/Training: Complete the WVDE New and Aspiring Superintendent Leadership Training.
  • Credential: Hold a valid and appropriate Administrative Certificate. Note: Does not apply to the Career and Technical Education Certificate.
  • Employment Required:No
  • Official Recommendation:Superintendent or Form 4B
